Explain the Button and Sleeve Options to me

The below table provides an explanation of the three options

Option

Description

When to choose this option

Sleeves Prepared for Buttons

Buttons are not attached, button holes have not been completed.  A tailor would perform final measurements of your arms and finalize your jacket.  This option provides the greatest accuracy in fit though the jacket should not be worn until the tailor has completed their work.

You are comfortable with your tailor and want the best fit.  You also have a week or so before you need to wear it as the tailor will need some time.

Buttons over Prepared Sleeves

This option is similar to Sleeves Prepared for Buttons but the buttons have been temporarily attached so that the jacket can be worn immediately after arrival.  This option is recommended though the jacket will still need to be taken to a tailor for finishing.

You are comfortable with your tailor and want the best fit.   In this case, you need to you’re your jacket shortly after shipment and cannot wait for alterations.

Completed Sleeves

Buttons are attached and button holesare completed.  The garment is completed and tailoring is not necessary.  This option is NOT recommended as the other two options provide the most accurate fit.

You are not comfortable with the tailor’s skills or need a completely finished product right away.  Note that the accuracy of your measurements areCRITICAL for this option.
